Merchant Assessment Officer (12 months contract)

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

The AML Team is part of the Customer Service and Operations division in NETS. This team is responsible for conducting AML/KYC screening on all new & existing merchants. The Officer will be responsible for ensuring data consistency among the various systems as part of AML/KYC requirement. He/She will be reporting to AML Team Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Perform review on name screening hits AML function/ KYC updates Data analysis and alignment among the various systems. Conduct investigation and follow-up closely with relevant stakeholders, if required. Handle other function(s) as and when required Requirements Minimum Diploma, GCE A level and/or GCE O level with experience Proficient in or has experience in KYC/ AML function Able to work independently and collaborate effectively as a team player Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Ability to read Chinese characters would be an added advantage Network for Electronic Transfers (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
