Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and safety-driven Superintendent to lead daily operations on commercial construction sites. This role ensures on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery while adhering to safety standards. The Superintendent will manage site activities, coordinate with stakeholders, supervise personnel, and oversee project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce safety standards, inspect site conditions, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain cleanliness and site protection. Review plans and schedules, manage two-week look-ahead updates, and facilitate weekly progress meetings. Inspect work for compliance with design documents, specifications, and safety protocols.

Log daily activities, track RFIs and submittals, maintain As-Built records, and manage punch lists. Supervise and mentor on-site teams while fostering professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in construction-related field preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of commercial construction field experience. Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore) Proven leadership skills in managing and directing on-site teams to successful project completion. Expertise in construction systems and safety protocols.

OSHA 30 certification preferred. Physical Requirements: Work on multiple job sites in varied conditions, including ladders and elevated surfaces. Lift and position items up to 50 lbs; flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
