Outreach Team Member

Role Type: Volunteer (Unpaid) Role Summary: We're looking for passionate, community-minded volunteers to join our Outreach Team! If you're excited about making a positive impact, connecting with people, and helping advance our organization's mission, we'd love to have you on board. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity requiring a commitment of approximately 1–2 hours per week .

It's a flexible way to give back while supporting meaningful community outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

Serve as an ambassador for the organization by representing our mission in the community. Participate in outreach initiatives, events, and engagement activities as needed. Build positive relationships with community members, partners, and prospective volunteers. Share information about the organization's programs, services, and volunteer opportunities.

Support outreach campaigns through in-person and virtual engagement. Provide feedback and ideas to help improve outreach efforts and community impact.

Required Skills

Passion for community service and supporting the organization's mission. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor. Dependable with the ability to follow through on commitments. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with diverse communities.

Preferred Skills

Previous volunteer, customer service, community outreach, or nonprofit experience. Experience participating in community events or public engagement activities. Comfortable using social media or digital platforms to support outreach efforts. Experience working with diverse populations and community organizations. Interest in developing leadership, networking, or community engagement experience.
