Job description
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate equipment including cranes, skid steers, forklifts, man lifts, telehandlers, loaders, excavators and other heavy equipment. Assist with excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and general site work. Perform safe loading, unloading, and material handling operations. Follow grade stakes and basic layout markings under supervision.
Perform daily equipment inspections and complete pre-start safety checklists. Keep equipment clean and report mechanical issues or safety concerns. Work with spotters and ground crew to maintain safe operations. Assist with rigging and lifting tasks when required. Maintain clean and safe work areas. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating construction or industrial equipment. Valid driver’s license preferred. Ability to work productively in a team environment. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Physically capable of climbing equipment, bending, lifting, and working around active job sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrate safe and responsible equipment operation. Maintain focus and situational awareness at all times. Show reliability, punctuality, and professionalism. Continually improve equipment operation skills and job knowledge. Respect tools, equipment, and jobsite property. Safety Requirements Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Follow Federal, State, company, and client safety rules and procedures. Participate in job hazard analyses and daily safety meetings. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses immediately. Maintain a safe and alert working environment at all times.
Compensation
