Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: Physical Therapist – PRN- 0-20 hrs a week Des Moines, IA Mercy. Your Role
- Provide professional, evidence-based care in accordance with physician orders and agency policies.
- Help clients regain independence and improve quality of life through personalized rehabilitation plans.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver therapeutic interventions (manual therapy, modalities, exercise programs). Educate clients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs. Supervise PTAs and Home Health Aides (as permitted). Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in care conferences.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
