Unit Highlights There is no better time to join our exceptional Operating Room Team in our state-of-the -art Verstandig Pavilion, located on Georgetown University’s campus. The Verstandig Pavilion is a Medical and Surgical building, spanning 477,000 square feet and is designed to uphold the highest standards of patient care and comfort.

Job Summary

Professional care provider who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of intraoperative patients. In collaboration with the patient and family, provides theory-based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with various members of the interdisciplinary team. Schedule Three 12 hr nights per week, 7pm to 7:30am Minimum Qualifications Education/Training: BSN preferred.

Associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree enrollment required within 1 year of start date and completion within 4 years. Experience: Minimum of two to three years of OR experience. Proficient in circulating and scrub. Experience in at least one of our top service lines Neuro, Ortho, Transplant, and /or Robotics.

License/Certification: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment, or Multistate Compact state or license eligible. CPR certification required by completion of introductory period. CNOR certification preferred.
