The Role We are looking for a Network Engineer with 2–5 years of relevant experience to optimize and maintain our low-latency network infrastructure across trading, data center, and office environments.

You will work closely with systems, infrastructure, and trading teams to manage network configurations, troubleshoot production issues, automate network operations, and ensure high availability and performance across our infrastructure. This is a high-ownership role where you will work across the network infrastructure lifecycle: Design → Configuration → Monitoring → Troubleshooting → Automation → Optimization What You’ll Do

• Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot network issues and outages, and plan upgrades to maintain high availability and low latency.
• Configure, install, and manage network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS.
• Provide hands-on network support for production issues across co-location/trading, data center, and office environments.
• Build and maintain network automation for deploying and updating configurations across infrastructure devices.
• Administer and support firewall environments and network security infrastructure.
• Upgrade network equipment and maintain stable firmware releases across the environment.
• Provide technical support for Linux systems and networking issues in production and live trading environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot multicast networking, including PIM and IGMP protocols.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Linux-based servers, including supporting hardware changes, software installations, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with systems and trading teams to improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of our network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• CCNP certification or equivalent networking expertise.
• Strong experience with routing and switching, including VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, VTP, STP, Ether. Channel, Layer 3 networking, BGP, static routing, and dynamic routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security, including Cisco ASA and Palo Alto.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN technologies, including IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, and site-to-site VPN.
• Knowledge of multicast networking and protocols such as PIM and IGMP.
• Good understanding of Linux networking and Linux-based production environments.
• Experience with Shell and/or Python scripting for network automation.
• Hands-on experience with network and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Exposure to AWS or cloud networking is advantageous.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot server hardware and related infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work effectively in a production-critical environment.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and learn new technologies quickly.
