Medical Assistant-Highland Hills Medical Associates/Strayhorn

Highland Hills Medical Associates seeks a Medical Assistant for the HHMA Clinic, located in Strayhorn, MS. This is for day shifts and paid at an hourly rate. It is a full-time position with benefits, including health, vision, dental, and life insurance. This position also offers participation in our retirement fund.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the C linic M anager, the Medical Assistant is responsible for performing all routine nursing care as directed by providers. Assists with other duties necessary to the efficient functioning of the office, such as triage and diagnostic procedures. In addition, the Medical Assistant ensures efficient services for the providers and quality service to the patients in adherence with expectations set by Highland Hills Medical Associates and Highland Hills Medical Center leadership.

Regulatory: Requirements: Certification from an accredited medical assistant program. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize and complete multiple tasks and demands. Some occasional overtime work may be required.

Current BLS certification.
