Job description

Posting Title: Orthopedic Surgeon Industry: Healthcare (Hospital) Salary: ₹12,00,000 to ₹13,00,000 LPM Work Experience: 4–5+ years Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions in adult and pediatric patients.
  • Plan and execute complex orthopedic surgical procedures, including total joint arthroplasty, spinal fusion, fracture fixation, and arthroscopic surgeries.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care, including patient education, risk assessment, and rehabilitation planning.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient management.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and supervise resident physicians, fellows, and medical students in clinical and surgical training.
  • Contribute to clinical research initiatives and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
  • Stay current with advancements in orthopedic techniques, technologies, and treatment protocols.
  • Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement programs, and professional development activities.
  • Represent the department in community outreach, health awareness campaigns, and medical conferences. Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery (MS Ortho or DNB Ortho).
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or surgical setting.
  • Proven track record of surgical excellence and patient outcomes in orthopedic care.
  • Demonstrated experience in publishing research in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of advanced orthopedic imaging and surgical technologies.
  • Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
  • Commitment to continuous learning, ethical practice, and patient safety.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environments.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgical duties.
