As a vital part of our workforce, you will be involved in the fabrication of steel frames and building components. Ability to MIG & Submerged Arc (SAW) weld and use grinders, and plasma torches. Responsibilities

• Scrapers, 7” grinders, welding hood and gouger for tools used
• Safely perform skilled welding in the fabrication of steel frames and building components
• Maintain proper housekeeping of assigned work area
• Must always have a high awareness for safety
• Any other duties assigned
• Work in compliance with safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals.
• Must follow welding procedures
• Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate tools and materials.Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
• Familiar/fluent in MIG & Sub-Arc (SAW) processes
• Previous experience with plasma torches & oxy acetylene cutting a plus
• Welding certifications beneficial but not required
• Ability to read a tape measure Requirements
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time
• Must wear proper safety equipment
• Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions)
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential within our manufacturing plant to ensure compliance with safety protocols and accurately interpret job orders. Salary Description $18 - $24 Compensation may be adjusted with extensive experience, and a thorough evaluation will be conducted during the interview process.
