POSITION SUMMARY
The Lounge Attendant is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked lounge environment for guests. This role ensures guests receive attentive service while enjoying the lounge space by assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting overall lounge operations. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Welcome guests to the lounge and provide courteous, attentive service.
Assist guests with food and beverage selections when applicable. Ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable lounge experience. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of lounge seating areas, tables, and service stations. Restock food items, beverages, utensils, napkins, and other lounge supplies as needed.
Monitor lounge areas to ensure they remain tidy and presentable throughout service hours. Assist with setting up and replenishing food and beverage offerings in the lounge. Ensure food presentation and beverage stations meet company quality standards. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Monitor inventory levels of lounge supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
Ensure lounge equipment such as coffee machines, beverage dispensers, and serving stations are clean and operational. Maintain strict compliance with sanitation and food safety standards. Follow company policies regarding food handling, cleanliness, and safety. Ensure lounge areas remain safe and hazard-free for guests.
Work closely with the Food & Beverage team, housekeeping, and front desk staff to maintain lounge operations. Support lounge setup and breakdown for special events or peak service periods. Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager. Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND DUTIES: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a guest-focused environment. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally. Frequent bending, reaching, and carrying trays or service items. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
