Bottling Line Technician
Job description
Summary The Bottling Line Technician is responsible for continued operation of the production bottling line, coordinating, and monitoring production completion within the Bottling Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor the flow of the bottling production line and equipment performance, including the Bottle Unscrambler, Counter Machine, Desiccant Inserter, Metal Detector, Capper Machine, Sealers,. Neckbander, and Labeler Machines Assist in the setup of the equipment and setup/changing of components and materials, such as adding bottles to the Unscrambler Machine, loading/changing desiccant and neckband reels, adding caps to the Capper Machine, and changing label rolls and ribbons on the Labeler Machine Assist Machine Operator or Line Leader in the production line processes and in-process checks Assist with production batch startup and completion, including verification of staged components and final batch reconciliation Report and assist with resolving any arising problems or complaints with line leader Meet accuracy and timeliness targets Comply with laws, regulations and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) requirements Assist in developing new strategies to streamline processes and reduce production time Partner and communicate with production line leader and Production Supervisor to ensure timely completions and delivery of work orders Qualifications High School Diploma, equivalent diploma or relevant experience required Previous bottling or production line experience required Experience with electronic data and equipment required Experience with production bottling line troubleshooting required Experience in packaging of nutraceuticals/pharmaceutical preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work well with others Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently Knowledge of cGMP practices Knowledge of regulatory requirements Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to apply logical reasoning Highly motivated, detail-oriented Ability to prioritize and multitask Physical/Work Environment/Expectations While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to: Operate in a professional environment Constantly use work-related equipment To use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Ability to work regular, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with the flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demands Note: This job description is not totally inclusive nor it is designed to cover or contain a complete comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
