- Assists the OR unit in a variety of surgical support activities.
- Provides sterile and non-sterile supplies in order to meet departmental needs.
- Processes instruments by cleaning, sterilizing and assembling instrument trays.
- Distributes instrument trays according to scheduled surgical cases. Job Description QUALIFICATIONS : High school diploma or equivalent.. LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS : Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. SKILLS : Manual Dexterity. Annual completion of unit specific/job specific competency requirements as delineated in competency tool.
