The Project Quality and Risk Engineer is responsible for ensuring that engineering projects meet defined quality standards and comply with applicable regulations, while proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks. This role bridges project management, quality assurance, and risk management to safeguard project performance and reliability.

What We Offer
This role offers the opportunity to build broad expertise across both project quality and risk management in an international engineering and manufacturing environment. You will work with varied projects, each bringing different technical, quality and risk challenges, creating continuous opportunities to learn and develop.
Risk wise Work close and collaborate with all relevant internal process to rise risks and manage them. Lead risk assessments to identify potential impacts and threats to NOV’s operation reliability and efficiency. Support contingency planning when needed. Maintain accurate documentation and up-to-date records of risk analyses, evaluations, and mitigation plans.
Support to develop and implement a Risk Assessment approach within relevant internal processes. Prepare reports and communicate results of risk analyses and mitigation plans to stakeholders. Develop controls and monitoring measures and follow-up on the implementation of mitigation plans and its effectiveness. Prepare reports and communicate results summarizing risk status from quality perspective.
Provide training and awareness sessions on risk procedures. Quality wise Perform periodic Quality meetings with customer. Perform on Tender Review. Perform customer’s requirements review on “Contract Reviews”. Perform NCR and QDR management. Perform Customer’s satisfaction follow-up. Manage and perform Customer’s Internal Quality Audit.
Prepare and issue Project Quality and Execution Plan (PQEP). Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and other relevant processes to integrate quality and risk management into all phases of the project. Provide training and awareness sessions on quality procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality regulations and standards, industry standards, and company policies.
Conduct audits and quality checks throughout project phases. Essential Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline. Relevant professional experience in quality, risk, project engineering or a related engineering environment. Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Practical experience on root cause analyses. Experience with relevant quality tools, such as Ishikawa Diagram, 5W2H, 5 Why, Pareto chart, PDAC, Control Graphs. Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools, including identifying, evaluating and classifying risks and defining mitigation actions. Experience supporting or conducting internal and/or supplier audits.
Experience with Project Quality Management (meetings with customer, non-conformity treatment). Fluent English, both written and spoken. Experience on creating PowerPoint presentations Experience with Intermediate Excel as minimum Desired Qualifications Certified as Risk Management (CRMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) by Project Management Institute (PMI) Valid driving licence, supporting occasional travel to the Kalundborg site.
Experience on suppliers' management Experience on API Q1 ISO 9001 training - reading and interpretation ISO 9001 training - internal auditor Experience with statistic tools Experience with Dashboards' creation (PowerBI) Fluency in Danish
