Student Nurse Intern - Tele 1 (Part Time) - 6162

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Intern for our Tele 1 Department. The Nurse Intern will assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Education

Documental proficiency of basic technical skills and current enrollment in an approved school of nursing or a graduate from an approved school of nursing in the process of receiving a temporary permit. Work Requirement: Each Nurse Intern (RN) must work a minimum twenty hours a week. Individual exceptions may be made by the Clinical Manager related to school and clinical schedules.

Certifications/Skills: BLS required. Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff; manual dexterity required to use hands easily and skillfully while aiding patients.
