As a Lifeguard , you’re not just ensuring the safety of pool guests – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day: As a Lifeguard, you are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Lifeguard will also be required to fulfill regular cleaning duties. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Supervise and ensure safety of swimmers Ensure guests feel safe in the pool area Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practice; enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations

• Follow emergency action plan and procedures when required Understand and abide by Waldorf Astoria Spa & Fitness policy and procedures. Listens and addresses guests requests and responds with appropriate action and provides accurate information. Communicates guest complaints to Spa Management. Maintains safety and sanitation standards. Ensure all fixtures and equipment are in excellent working order and report any deficiencies. Attend all mandatory meetings, as directed by Spa Manager. Provide customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities, and directing guests to other areas of the hotel. Assist guests in their needs & safety related to the pool & fitness area Provide tour of the Spa, pool, and fitness facilities Maintain cleanliness of general pool & fitness area including emptying used pool towel bins, organizing pool / fitness furniture, collecting towels, and neatly arranging the pool towel storage shelves Deep cleaning when requested Instruct and direct guests in correct usage of all facilities and equipment Confirm guest registration prior to issuing Hotel property Follow health & safety procedures including sanitization of all areas and equipment As a Lifeguard, you are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
