Description Overview: Homefront Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide essential support to individuals who require personal care and assistance in their own homes. As a HHA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by providing personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

- Friday Hours: 9am - 4pm Responsibilities:
- Personal Care : Assist clients with daily activities such as assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, while respecting their dignity, privacy, and personal preferences.
- Medication Reminders : Remind your client to take his/her medication at the appropriate time.
- Mobility Assistance : Provide physical assistance and support to clients with mobility challenges, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids such as walkers or wheelchairs.
- Companionship : Engage clients in meaningful conversations, activities, and hobbies to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being.
- Meal Preparation : Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions, preferences, and client requirements, ensuring a balanced and healthy diet.
- Light Housekeeping : Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living spaces, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Transportation : Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, grocery shopping, and other activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation.
- Communication : Maintain open and effective communication with office staff to provide updates on the client's condition, progress, and any concerns as well as any scheduling issues or emergencies.
- Record-Keeping & Electronic Visit Verification : Document and maintain accurate records of client care, including daily activities, assigned tasks, any client request and any significant observations or changes in the client’s condition.
- Safety and Emergency Preparedness : Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly, following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Respect and Professionalism : Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions with clients, their families, office staff and other healthcare professionals. Show up to scheduled shifts on time and with a positive attitude. Note : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. - Must hold a valid driver's license and active auto Insurance.
- Must be willing to transport clients.
- Experience in senior care, assisted living, or working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting if needed.
- CPR certification and active TB Test
