Environmental Services Worker MHB

Facility: Mercy Hospital of Buffalo Shift: Shift 1 Status: Part Time w/Benefits FTE: 0.600000 Bargaining Unit: CWA Local 1133 Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No Work Schedule: Days with Weekend and Holiday Rotation Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm Summary: Performs a variety of heavy services and project cleaning tasks to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.

Operates various types of cleaning equipment, cleans using step based cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED EXPERIENCE Prior Environmental Service experience and/or experience working in a health care facility and/or using janitorial equipment desirable KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Must have sufficient reading ability to read safety instructions and chemical product labels
