Job description

Level Up is looking for someone who will execute the engine behind Lux & Nyx corporate gifting channel — the B2B line we sell through promotional-products distributors (Staples Promotional, HALO, Promoshop, and peers) who place our bags into corporate, executive-incentive, and employee-appreciation programs. Our founder sets the strategy and closes the deals.

You do everything around that: build and run the outbound (one master contact list, trade-show campaigns, email copy, CRM), respond to and nurture distributors into warm opportunities, and keep orders moving cleanly through our decorator and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

The outbound engine — the trade-show prospecting campaigns (like ASI Chicago), ONE master filterable contact list, the outreach copy, and subject-line A/B testing. The CRM flywheel — turn cold contacts into warm relationships and keep them warm; nurture distributors (Staples, HALO, Promoshop) so nothing lapses; hand the founder warm, ready-to-close opportunities.

Consultative response — read a distributor’s client brief and recommend the right products, MOQs, and decoration (embroidery, DTF, deboss) that fit the vibe, quantity, and price; prep the quote for the founder to close. Order ops — read POs, catch a price/MOQ error, track in-hand dates (IHD), and run orders clean through the decorator (deco shop) and kitting/warehouse.

Catch the wrong-address before it ships. The cadence — run the campaign calendar, tell the founder what you need and when, and pull the copy/decisions from them on schedule. You drive; we don’t chase you.

Requirements

You drive — you don't wait. You run the calendar and pull what you need from us on schedule. This is the #1 thing we're screening for. 3+ years in B2B sales ops, outbound/demand-gen, or e-commerce coordination — ideally with distributor, reseller, or promotional-products (ASI/PPAI) exposure. Hands-on with outbound: you've built and run a real contact list and email campaigns (Apollo / a CRM / an email tool), and you understand ONE master filterable list beats scattered ones.

A clear B2B writer who tests — you can take a direction and turn it into outreach that gets opened, and you A/B-test subject lines rather than guess. A reliable operator — high-volume orders and coordination without dropping balls; you catch the error before it ships. Comfortable in async, remote, founder-led environments, with meaningful overlap with US business hours (distributors are US-based).

AI-native — you've built workflows where AI carries the volume so you supervise, not grind.

Nice to have

promo-industry experience, and comfort building simple automations (Make/Zapier) — a plus, not required. What separates great from good Runs the cadence and manages up — tells the founder what's needed and by when; the founder never has to trigger the work or chase them. Owns the numbers they control — knows their pipeline, open rates, and warm-opp count cold.

Leads before it's asked — spots the gap and acts, instead of waiting for a task. Makes the distributor's (and the founder's) job effortless — fast, clean, quote-ready. Comfortable with ambiguity — turns a rough direction into a shipped campaign. How to apply Start your application with the word GIFTING, and in three sentences tell us about a time you caught a problem before it blew up — something no one asked you to look for.

Applications that skip this won't be read.

Benefits

Competitive compensation tied to experience and location. Paid PTO. Health stipend. Remote-first culture with intentional async work.
