Data Scientist (Artificial Intelligence)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models utilizing advanced libraries such as XGBoost and LightGBM. Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications to enhance data retrieval and response accuracy. Engineer efficient data structures and algorithms to optimize computational performance and system scalability.

Develop and maintain SQL queries and data pipelines to ensure high-quality data availability for analysis. Apply deep learning concepts, including Transformers and Sentence-Transformers, to natural language processing tasks. Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools to manage, train, and deploy models in production environments.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code to support end-to-end machine learning lifecycles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.

Requirements

Possess 7 to 10 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or related technical fields. Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python programming with a deep understanding of machine learning frameworks. Show hands-on expertise in working within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. Have a proven track record of developing RAG-based applications and integrating them into production systems.

Be well-versed in advanced boosting algorithms, specifically XGBoost and LightGBM. Possess solid knowledge of Transformer architectures, Sentence-Transformers, and their practical applications. Exhibit strong command over SQL, data structures, and algorithms for effective data manipulation and analysis. Hold a competitive salary expectation within the range of ₹16-17 LPA, aligned with industry standards for this level of expertise.
