Welder - 1st Shift

Position Description: Welding products to print using manual, semi‐automatic, and automatic welding equipment using MIG and TIG Primary Objectives: Responsible for Quality of parts welded in a timely manner Responsible for daily welding of work in adherence to the quality management system Responsibilities: Responsible for welding of parts Inspection of parts Following safety procedures Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM’s, prints, etc..)

Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.

Qualifications

2+ years experience of wire feed welding Welding experience in a related industry preferred Welding technology degree (2‐yr) preferred Ability to pass AHI welding certification within 90 days of hire for multiple processes Ability to setup and run various programs on welding equipment Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred Comfortable using various computer software Ability to use and read measuring equipment Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day Good verbal and written communication skills GWC – (Gets the role, Wants to do it, Capacity to do it) Aligns with our Core Values: Integrity, Aggressive, Team Pride, Expertise, Respect Full time employees are eligible for the following benefits: Medical insurance through Medica + free in-home acute health care and on-job site health care through Nice for those enrolled on company medical plan.
