Meritan, Inc., a health, human, and social services nonprofit, is seeking a Contract Family Model Caregiver to join its Residential Services team in West Tennessee. This contractor position will support individuals 18 years of age and older who have health-related, developmental, and/or intellectual disabilities within the contractors home and in the community. If you are a nurse and tired of being on your feet all day, this could be perfect for you! Pay includes monthly room and board as well as a daily stipend for providing support to someone in your home. Some qualifications to be a family model caregiver include: High School diploma or equivalent Good organizational skills Valid driver's license and auto insurance Everyone in the home 18 years of age and older must be able to pass a background check Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn computer software program Ability to provide personal care including bathing, personal hygiene, meal preparation and environmental support Meritan provides homes of refuge and healing to special needs foster children and in-home services to the elderly and disabled so that they may remain living independently in their community.
