• Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm Shift Premium: Any work performed/hours worked Monday
• Friday, 5:00 pm - 5:59 am and/or any hours worked on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) will be paid a shift differential of 15% of your base wage. The Opportunity (Job Purpose): Are you ready to make a visible impact? As our next Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in keeping the customer's fleet moving. We are looking for an energetic, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us. What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities): Perform necessary repairs on customer vehicles, lease units and company inventory Diagnose, disassemble, clean and inspect engines Diagnose, disassemble, clean, overhaul, repair, rebuild, and adjust clutches, differentials and power divider systems, suspension systems, electrical systems, braking systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, steering system, emission and hydraulic systems Submit and complete technical reports and documentation Troubleshoot fault codes and check engine lights Assist in the the rebuild and overhaul of engines Deliver exceptional customer service Maintain a diplomatic and courteous manner in all dealings with customers and fellow employees Expand technical abilities through participation in training and development opportunities Timely completion of all assigned training, including at least 90% of assigned Peterbilt Training Possess a valid state or Federal mobile A/C certification Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers. Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business Physical and Mental Demands: The employee is frequently required to bend, squat, kneel, and crawl/lay on back; reach away from body or shoulder height; climb or balance; lift up to 75 pounds; push or pull; working in areas with fumes or airborne particles; vibration. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills): Typically four (4) years of experience, and has completed a diesel focus technical school program, able to complete designated tasks on time achieving quality requirements.
