Groundskeeper

Our client is looking for Groundskeepers to work on the campus of their private school in Jacksonville. Because this job is on school grounds, it requires a clean background, ability to pass a drug test as well as fingerprinting before you will be able to start.. Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: In person Duties:

• Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and landscapes.
• Operate power tools and hand tools to trim, mow, edge, and prune vegetation.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the appearance of outdoor spaces.
• Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper watering of plants.
• Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from outdoor areas.
• Monitor and report any issues or damages to outdoor structures or equipment.
• Keep all common areas clean, emptying trash receptacles as well as picking up trash
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Experience:
• Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
