Pharmacy Tech (Certified & Non-Certified) - Acute Retail Pharmacy

PHARMACY TECH (NON-CERTIFIED) DEFINITION: Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, provides technical support for the provision of pharmaceutical services to all age groups including adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy’s Technician Permit required within 120 days.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior hospital experience High school diploma or equivalency Technical training or equivalent experience in a pharmacy. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

National Certification at the time of hire, or an Associates Degree for an accredited University/Community College. Technical training or equivalent experience in a pharmacy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Prior hospital experience. #ZR
