Job Description: Gateway Health and Rehab located in Cleveland, Georgia, is currently looking to hire a Wound Care Nurse.

Job Summary

Management Position 8-4:30pm A Wound Care Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care to patients with wounds, including assessment, treatment, and management of wounds. The Wound Care Nurse works closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care for patients with wounds.

Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate wounds to determine the appropriate course of treatment Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care for patients with wounds Provide wound care treatments, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound irrigation Monitor and document wound healing progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention Maintain accurate and complete patient records Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care research and techniques Requirements Active nursing license Certification in wound care nursing Experience in wound care management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
