Shop Assistant

Description Equipment Services Plus is seeking a reliable, hardworking Shop Assistant to assist with daily operations at our Chicago location. This position is perfect for someone who is hands-on, organized, and eager to help where needed. The Shop Assistant will support the shop staff by maintaining cleanliness, making parts runs, and handling various tasks that may arise throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the shop's cleanliness and organization ( sweeping, trash removal, wiping down surfaces, etc .) Assist technicians and shop staff as needed. Grease trucks, air up tires Perform parts runs to local suppliers and vendors. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Organize inventory and stock supplies. Help maintain tools and equipment.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to follow directions and work independently Previous shop or warehouse experience is a plus, but is not required Punctual and dependable Work Environment Fast-paced shop environment Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and moving throughout the day Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision after 60 days of employment Vacation

• Sick Time Full-time; Mon-Fri 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Hourly Wage: $18.00 - $24.00 based on experience
