Radiation Therapy Tech

Day Shift 36 hours per week Job Summary: Administers ionizing radiation, maintains treatment records, participates in patient care, maintains equipment, monitors and maintains the treatment environment, and participates in departmental activities. Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required: Certification as a radiologic technologist qualified in radiation therapy (RTT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR graduate of an approved radiation therapy school or equivalent if certified prior to 2017 required.

Certification by the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBIMRT) required. Leadership training preferred. Professional Organizations: ASRT highly recommended.
