As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team in Port Alberni, BC . This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term career close to home while helping ensure our aviation manufacturing activities meet established quality, safety, customer, and regulatory standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Plan and conduct internal audits in accordance with the AS9100 Quality Management System. Audit manufacturing documentation for compliance with quality, regulatory, customer, and contractual requirements. Develop audit plans, checklists, schedules, and supporting documentation. Gather and evaluate objective evidence through document reviews, workplace observations, and employee interviews.

Document audit findings, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to management and affected departments. Support the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Monitor corrective actions to ensure they are completed on time and effectively address identified concerns.

Participate in the Company’s Safety Management System and report applicable safety or quality findings. Identify recurring issues, trends, and opportunities to improve quality processes. Assist with assigning and tracking required training for employees and contractors. Maintain complete, accurate, and organized audit records.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Knowledge of the AS9100 Quality Management System requirements is preferred. Knowledge of internal-auditing principles, practices, and documentation. At least one year of experience participating in internal audits. At least six months of experience developing audit checklists and tracking audits against established schedules.

Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. The ability to identify non-conformities and communicate findings clearly and objectively. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance.
