Experience Level: Experienced Professional / Team LeadA Snapshot of Your Day. As a QA Lead, you will drive quality excellence across Siemens Energy's digital products by leading end-to-end testing, automation initiatives, and quality governance activities.

Your day begins by collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and DevOps teams to align testing priorities with sprint and release objectives.You will mentor QA engineers, review testing strategies, oversee automation execution, and proactively address quality risks that may impact business outcomes. Leveraging modern quality engineering practices and AI-powered testing capabilities, you will ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient validation of web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.

Working in a dynamic Agile environment, you will champion continuous improvement, strengthen release confidence, and help deliver secure, high-quality digital solutions that support Siemens Energy's transformation journey.How You'll Make an Impact. Define and execute quality strategies, test plans, release validation approaches, and quality gates across complex software programs.

Lead and mentor QA engineers while driving best practices in manual testing, automation, quality engineering, and continuous improvement.Govern automation frameworks and testing processes, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.Leverage AI-driven testing capabilities to improve test design, defect analysis, quality insights, and automation efficiency.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases and improve overall delivery predictability.Identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks through proactive testing, defect management, and root-cause analysis.Provide quality metrics, release readiness assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.

What You Bring. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or a related discipline.10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including both manual and automation testing across enterprise applications.Proven experience leading QA teams, test delivery, automation initiatives, and release management activities.

Strong expertise in test strategy, automation frameworks, API testing, performance testing, and Agile software delivery.Hands-on experience with modern testing tools such as Playwright, Appium, Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related technologies.Experience leveraging AI-powered testing solutions and implementing modern quality engineering practices.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a global, collaborative, and fast-paced Agile environment.About the Team. The Fleet Operations Management Applications team develops and supports mission-critical digital solutions that enable operational excellence across Siemens Energy.
