UPIKE SCHOOL OF DANCE OFFICE ASSISTANT Division: Support Services Department: School of Dance Experience: Entry-level Job Code: NA Supervisor of Student Employee(s): Conda Little Requested Start Date: 9/1/2026 Assist the Co-Directors (Conda Little and Brooklyn Newsome) with day-to-day operations of the School of Dance, providing administrative support, document creation, and front-office coverage for the studio.

Responsibilities

Administrative office duties – P, C, T Answering the phone – C, P Creating, keying, and proofreading documents (e.g., class rosters) – C, CT, T, P Creating forms – CT, T, P Creating flyers – C, T, P Creating social media content – C, T Organizing studio storage closets – P, CT Maintaining open office hours for the dance studio – P, C Assisting Co-Directors with daily administrative duties (including on-campus errands) – C, P, TW Competencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T) Computer Skills: Word, Canva, and Social Media Other Skills: Written & verbal communication, Willingness to learn new things, Attention to detail, Strong active listening abilities Work Schedule: Monday-Friday hours may vary depending on work load.

Physical Demands: Lifting up to 10lbs, Keyboarding, Reaching/handling.
