Grounds Equipment Operator

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a Grounds Equipment Operator. Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins.

Minimum Qualifications

New York State CDL license within six months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous grounds management and equipment operation experience. Typical Work Activities Include: Maintaining school grounds by plowing, mowing, field lining, small machine maintenance, operating various equipment (backhoe, tractors, zero-turn mowers, etc.) Appointment: Full-time, 12 months Work Week: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM* Salary/Rate of Pay: Starting at $18.
