Job Description: Provides engineering concepts and ideas in a cost-effective manner. Transforms a proof of principle or prototype into commercial scale equipment. Develops new technology (prototype and pilot equipment) for plant prove-out and subsequent successful commercialization. Assists plant technical and manufacturing operations in troubleshooting and correcting process and product deficiencies for new product/process development and/or improved asset productivity.

Provides direction for contractors/vendors responsible for designing, assembling, installing and testing. Under direct supervision and within established procedures assists with areas that include engineering projects including layout and design, specification development and preparation, new product evaluation, data collection, process, and maintenance support.

Requirements

Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of one (1) year of related experience. Leadership and Organizational Skills.
