JOB SUMMARY

As an art instructor, you will plan and conduct engaging drawing and painting classes for students ages 6-14. Our art instructors create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity. This position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and guide young artists in their creative journey.

QUALIFICATIONS

The best applicants will have a strong background in fine arts, with a focus on drawing and painting techniques. Prior teaching experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts are highly desirable. Familiarity with various art mediums and techniques, and knowledge of art history and contemporary art trends. Our art instructors must be positive, friendly, encouraging, supportive, effective communicators, effective teachers, reliable, punctual, and organized.

Please be prepared to provide samples of your artwork prior to an interview if selected. SCHEDULING & PAY: These are part-time year-round positions starting immediately. Classes will be on Thursday evenings from 4:00pm- 7:15pm. The pay for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hour DOQ (depending on qualifications).
