Housekeeper Department: Housekeeping Reports To: Assistant General Manager Status: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available Elkridge Club is an exclusive and prestigious private country club that offers unparalleled experiences in dining, recreation, and relaxation.

Position Summary

Elkridge Club is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and guests. Housekeepers play an important role in ensuring that all clubhouse facilities consistently reflect the high standards of our private country club. Transportation is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, offices, meeting rooms, and other clubhouse facilities. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish assigned areas. Empty trash and recycling containers. Restock restroom supplies and housekeeping inventory. Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, and other surfaces. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged equipment promptly.

Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment. Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner. Assist with special cleaning projects before or after club events. Follow all Club safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Provide courteous and professional service to members, guests, and fellow employees.

Laundry Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to communicate professionally with members, guests, and coworkers.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach. Lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Room set-up. Push and pull housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment. Work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedule Schedules may include mornings (6:00 a.
