Property Maintenance Technician- Seasonal

The Property Maintenance Technician cares for the company’s property by performing maintenance duties such as landscaping, painting, carpentry, snow removal and industrial housekeeping. The Property Maintenance Technician identifies and meets the maintenance needs of the property.

Duties and Responsibilities

/ Essential Functions Perform general maintenance functions for the property. Remove snow using a plow truck, snow blower, skid steer, and shovel. Operate equipment onsite as required (training will be provided). Perform daily/scheduled maintenance checks and services on company equipment. Repair company equipment to maintain serviceable condition.

Perform basic computer data entry for equipment. Perform grounds maintenance and limited site work, as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Skills and Specifications Demonstrable ability to operate snow removal equipment. Ability to read and interpret equipment owners’ manuals, equipment schematics and work orders.

General knowledge of safe working practices in manufacturing and construction environments. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not require the supervision of direct reports. Work Environment This position operates in warehouse, production facility, office, outdoor, and field environments which may include working near moving mechanical parts, powered industrial equipment, loading docks, storage areas, delivery locations, and varying weather conditions while using vehicles, and tools of the trade.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb, walk, drive, and stand. Frequent lifting and carrying of materials, equipment, and supplies up to 75 lbs. may occur. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a seasonal position, starting November 30 and ending March

1. This is a full-time hourly position. Standard days and hours are 40 hours per week, weekends and extended hours as needed. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on business needs. Travel Travel is not anticipated. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. 2 years of experience in a maintenance position. Any trade school certification is a plus. Work Authorization / Security Clearance Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check. Successful pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and motor vehicle record review. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
