ND Defense is hiring qualified vehicle assemblers for a full-time temporary contract lasting 5-6 months, ending in February/March 2027.

Full-time hours with overtime opportunities Benefits starting the first of the month after your start date Possible continued employment after the contract ends (not guaranteed) What you'll do: This position connects parts into more complex components and ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.

Responsibilities

Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures. Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process. Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components. Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications. Align material and put together parts to build more complex units.

Check output to ensure highest quality. Maintain equipment in good condition. Keep records of production quantities and time Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts Operate overhead cranes and hand tools Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity.

Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision in order to produce complex outputs by putting together smaller components. Proven experience as assembler in automotive or mechanical settings Ability to use tools (e.g., clamps) and machines (e.g., presses) Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition High school diploma generally required, a higher degree from a technical school preferred Essential Functions include but are not limited to: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
