Job description
An individual in this position performs a variety of skilled technical work in the repairs, building, operations, maintenance of county-owned water plants, wells, wastewater plants, collections system and associated buildings and equipment. The incumbent also operates a boom truck to pull pumps and motors for repair and/or replacement.
Hernando County provides a career path for advancement to Electrical/Mechanical Specialist I when certifications and experience requirements are met. Placement in job classification will be dependent upon the license, certifications, and years of experience held by the employee and/or the selected applicant. This position is open until filled.
