Social Media Specialist
Job description
ROLE: SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST TEAM: CREATOR LOCATION: TORONTO (HYBRID)
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Salt is a North American marketing agency that creates connected experiences through creative, digital & media innovation.
Our mission is to “Earn The World’s Attention” and Salt is built to find, develop, execute, and amplify the ideas that are worthy of our clients’ audiences. We’ve structured our agency to do what’s right for our clients – to connect different perspectives, to work across mediums, and to focus on delivering meaningful, effective results.
We’re committed to living up to the values in our name. “Salt of The Earth” means we value collaborative, humble, hard-working people here. We’re looking for people who are as smart as they are kind because we believe the right talent and the right culture help us do what’s right for our clients.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a social-first creative with great taste, a finger on the pulse of internet culture, and the skills to turn great ideas into great content.
The Social Media Specialist is equal parts content creator, social media manager, and creative thinker. You’ll play a hands-on role in bringing brands to life on social, from developing content ideas and producing engaging, platform-native content to coordinating UGC creators, managing social channels, and analyzing what’s working (and what’s not).
We’re looking for someone who moves fast, thinks creatively, has strong editing skills, and is constantly looking for ways to make brands’ social content better. Someone who doesn’t just follow trends but knows how to spot opportunities early and translate them into content that earns attention.
You’ll work closely with our social, creative, and creator teams, collaborating directly with clients to develop, execute, and optimize their social presence.
You’ll primarily support social content development and channel management for a tier-1 CPG client with iconic brands, with opportunities to contribute to other exciting Salt clients and projects. You’ll also support Salt’s owned social channels and content initiatives as needed.
If you’re a content creator looking to bring your skills to the agency world, we’d love to hear from you.
This is currently a hybrid opportunity, with 2 days per week in office required at our Salt Toronto Head Office.
