This role is a 14-month Fixed Term Contract We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Administrator, Payments to join our Operations team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced banking professional to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of payments while delivering an outstanding service experience to our clients and stakeholders. As a Senior Administrator, Payments, you'll support daily payment operations, assist with workflow management, provide technical guidance to colleagues, and help maintain high standards of operational excellence and risk management.
Experience and Qualifications Secondary education (A-Levels or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years' experience within a banking environment. Strong understanding of payment operations and banking processes. Experience handling customer queries and resolving operational issues. Knowledge of risk management, AML and KYC requirements would be advantageous.
Key Outputs Process and validate domestic and international payment transactions accurately and within agreed service levels. Manage inward and outward payment queues, helping to coordinate and prioritise team workloads. Support the investigation and resolution of payment-related queries and reconciliation issues. Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Identify, investigate and escalate suspicious activity in line with AML and KYC requirements.
