The incumbent will support the Child Support Services Division (CSSD) databases. The mission of the Child Support Services Division is to enhance the well-being of children by assuring the accurate and timely financial and medical support is provided for them.<br><br> </div><div>The CSSD Database Administrator provides, at minimum, the following general services related to Microsoft SQL Server databases:<br><br> </div><ul> <li>Designs and maintains on premises SQL Server databases and tables</li> <li>Provide customer support, to internal and external customers</li> <li>Produce system and custom reports upon request using SQL queries</li> <li>Reviews and prepares technical documentation, including data dictionaries definitions, systems flows, program flows, database designs,</li> <li>Oversee enhancements and new feature deployment, including the development requirements and testing scripts</li> <li>Responsible for database problem diagnosis and resolution</li> <li>Recommends improvements to database systems based on the latest developments within the IT field</li> </ul><div> <hr> <br><br> </div><div>CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION<br><br> </div><div>Responsibilities:<br><br> </div><div>1. Plans, organizes, and implements projects in support of District’s growing information demands.<br><br> </div><div>2. Ensures the effective use of District resources.<br><br> </div><div>3. Contributes to policies for effective process planning as it relates to new requirements.<br><br> </div><div>4. Possesses expert knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL) environment with particular emphasis on planning, analysis, design and implementation of reports and report interfaces intended for the end user.<br><br> </div><div>5. Participates in short-term tactical planning implementation.<br><br> </div><div>6. Contributes to long-term strategic planning.<br><br> </div><div>Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:<br><br> </div><div>Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience</div> </div>
