As the PM Reservations Agent, you'll answer telephone inquiries in a friendly and courteous manner, employ sales techniques in order to secure and process reservations for guest accommodations in a timely manner consistent with high standards of quality. Essential Job Functions: Answer the incoming calls of all prospective guests in a friendly and timely manner.

Provide accurate information regarding availability, accommodation types, rates, etc. and assign reservations based on guest preferences and availability. Input and retrieve data using a computer reservation system and utilize codes for efficiency. Answer questions regarding hotel facilities and services, local attractions, directions, etc.

Communicate applicable deposit and guarantee policies as requested. Thoroughly read provided materials pertaining to group reservations, guest concerns, and property updates. Handle complaints in a tactful manner and negotiate resolutions such as alternative accommodations when hotel is sold out. File registration cards.

Initiate reports and retrieve printed forms from computer. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10 lbs Primarily sedentary role, may involve standing and walking for short periods of time Wage: Hourly $19.00 Shift: 3pm-11pm Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or its equivalent Experience : Prior hospitality experience preferred Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus.
