This role is vital for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of young patients, offering specialized support in critical care environments such as the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will possess the unique ability to build trust with children, effectively manage medical emergencies, and deliver empathetic care during high-stress situations, fostering a healing atmosphere for both patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse range of pediatric conditions. Provide specialized care and monitoring within the NICU and PICU settings for critically ill newborns and children. Manage emergency medical situations with composure, ensuring rapid and effective intervention for young patients.

Establish a comforting rapport with children to alleviate fear and anxiety associated with medical procedures, including vaccinations and blood draws. Collaborate closely with nursing staff, specialists, and families to coordinate holistic care strategies. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records while adhering to all hospital protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 1+ year of relevant clinical experience in pediatric medicine. Proven expertise in managing NICU, PICU, and emergency pediatric cases. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural aptitude for connecting with young patients and calming their fears. Deep empathy and the ability to remain composed and supportive during stressful medical moments.

Strong clinical judgment and proficiency in handling pediatric emergencies. Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a hospital environment.
