• Bonx, NY, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 2 Year Degree, Salary Range: $36.06 - $36.06Hourly, Travel Percentage: Local, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Professional Services, Counseling Services of New York (CSNY) is an OASAS (New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services) licensed 822 non-intensive outpatient chemical dependence clinic in S. Bronx. Hours: Monday through Friday, 9AM to 6PM (out for 1 hour for lunch) Compensation: Hourly, $36.06 per hour Duties of LMHC: CSNY is hiring a full-time, on-site LMHC (or similar mental health practitioner) to join our team to provide the following services to individuals seeking treatment and counseling for issues related to substance use disorder, needed: Individual counseling Connecting clients to outside mental health resources beyond what can be provided at our location Mental health assessments Timely utilization of EHR (electronic health record) software for all client-related documentation of services provided and related reports and plans Correspond with referring entities Coordinate with Program Director and Clinical Director, as needed. Participate in specially constituted committees including weekly clinical Case Conferences, periodic Utilization Reviews, Incidents reviews, client satisfaction issues, reportable incidents, etc. Occasional group counseling facilitation to provide mental health resource education (or similar subject matter) Other duties, as assigned. Reports to: Program Director and works closely with the Clinical Supervisor.Qualifications: Qualifications of LMHC: Must include at least one of the following mental health credentials: LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor); LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Psychologist Additional Qualifications of Intake Coordinator: Employment history in the Chemical Dependency service field. Bi-lingual Preferred (Spanish and English). Proficient in MS, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and general computer and internet navigation. Positive attitude and friendly, professional demeanor.
