Summer 2027 Law Clerk - EA

PJI Law, a boutique, busy, and fast-growing law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, is offering an enriching, full-time, in-office clerkship in the summer of 2027. This role presents both challenging and rewarding experiences for law students seeking to sharpen their legal skills. As a law clerk, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our fiduciary litigation attorneys and trust and estate administration team.

If you're a law student eager to apply your classroom knowledge in a practical, real-world legal environment, this clerkship is for you. Your duties as a Law Clerk would include: Assist in organizing and managing extensive case files related to the administration of trusts and estates. Draft legal documents, including pleadings and transactional estate filings, under the supervision of an attorney.

Conduct legal research using various resources to support case preparation and strategy. Work closely with attorneys and legal support team members on estate litigation cases.

Requirements

Enrollment as a 2L or higher in an accredited law school. A minimum GPA of 3.0. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent research and writing abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and legal research software. In-office position. Full-time.
