Now Hiring: Manufacturing Assembler – HVAC Equipment Put Your Mechanical Skills to Work Openwork is hiring a Manufacturing Assembler for an OEM HVAC manufacturing company in Stafford, TX . This hands-on position involves assembling commercial and industrial HVAC equipment using mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and sheet metal components.

Position at a Glance Location: Stafford, TX 77477 Pay: $15.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience | Weekly Pay Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–3:00 PM Overtime: Saturdays | 8:00 AM–12:00 PM , based on company needs Employment Type: Full-Time What You'll Be Doing: Assemble commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Read engineering drawings, wiring schematics, piping diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.

Install sheet metal, coils, insulation, piping, motors, compressors, fans, controls, and accessories. Route and secure electrical wiring and components. Install refrigeration components and piping. Cut, bend, flare, and assemble copper tubing. Perform brazing and soldering when qualified. Use hand, power, measuring, and torque tools.

Assist with pressure, leak, and functional testing. Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy. Complete production documentation. Cross-train in different assembly areas.

What You'll Need

Manufacturing, assembly, HVAC, sheet metal, construction, automotive, or industrial equipment experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions. Basic math and tape-measure skills. Experience using hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and quality.

Good problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and with a team. Excellent attendance and reliability. High school diploma or GED preferred. Preferred Experience: HVAC manufacturing or commercial HVAC installation. Mechanical or electrical assembly. Sheet metal assembly. Refrigeration piping. Copper brazing or soldering.

Blueprint or electrical schematic reading. Wiring installation. Forklift or overhead crane operation. Tools & Equipment: Experience may include hand and power tools, rivet guns, drills, presses, torque tools, tape measures, calipers, vacuum pumps, refrigerant gauges, nitrogen regulators, and leak-detection equipment .

Physical & Safety Requirements: Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Bend, squat, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined areas. Perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Distinguish wire colors and read detailed labels. Work around varying temperatures, noise, dust, oils, and industrial equipment.
