Senior Project Superintendent

Wharton-Smith, Inc is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Superintendent with Water/Wastewater background for the Fort Myers area . In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the direction and daily supervision of all job site field personnel on assigned projects.

Compensation

$135,200+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for performance-based bonuses twice a year and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and company vehicle.

Maintain quality Project safety management Short-term scheduling Manpower and equipment resource requirement scheduling Coordination of permit and regulatory inspections Project set-up and temporary facilities Field documents control Daily reports Progress photographs Material handling (receiving & inventory, storage, spare parts) Layout Subcontract coordination Jobsite hiring, when required In-place quantity reporting As-Built Drawings Participate in post-construction review Field purchases Material delivery coordination Client and RPR relations Time sheets Small tool management Knowledge of contract documents Jobsite security Required Qualifications: Superintendent Level 10-15 years of total construction experience.

Minimum of the most recent 5+ years as a Superintendent (required). Candidates must currently be working in water/wastewater. Senior Superintendent Level 15–20 years of total construction experience (20+ preferred). Minimum of the most recent 10+ years as a Superintendent (required). Candidates must currently be working in water/wastewater.

Additional Qualifications: High School diploma. Good communication and people skills. Presentation experience. Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel. Knowledge of Project Management Software (PMIS) . Valid Driver License and ability to commute to job sites.
