Database Administrators performs the following functions: Provides comprehensive support and maintenance for all MIDFLORIDA database systems and associated applications. Responsible for designing, reviewing, and maintaining daily operational processes, with a focus on automation and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data within production databases. Contributes to the achievement of IT and organizational objectives by successfully completing assigned tasks and projects. Learn, recommend, and implement new technologies to benefit MIDFLORIDA Credit Union and its members Exercise sound judgment and discretion while remaining compliant with well-defined limits and guidelines. Deliver problem solving solutions and perform research as needed. Provide technical solutions in support of MIDFLORIDA’s electronic services. Professional and efficient communications with all departments promoting synergy. Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism always. Exude a positive and professional attitude with members and partners consistently. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications include: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience Demonstrated expertise in managing and developing Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases; including design, optimization, and maintenance. Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining SSIS-based ETL processes to support data integration Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills A strong attention to detail Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Able to work in a team environment as well as independent with minimal supervision This position also participates in an on-call support rotation as required.
