Front Desk Agent

What you will be doing Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and dining options. Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.

Process payments, room charges, and other transactions accurately. Maintain accurate guest information and follow hotel procedures. Answer telephone calls and assist guests with reservations and general inquiries. Monitor room availability and assist with room assignments. Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Promote hotel services and Marriott Bonvoy benefits when appropriate. Follow all hotel safety, security, and guest-service standards. Protect guest privacy and confidential information. Address guest concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Assist with other front office duties as needed.

Requirements

Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred. Previous Front Desk experience is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, professional, and welcoming personality. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills; hotel property-management system experience is a plus. Professional appearance and good personal hygiene. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Open availability for weekends and holidays is required. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy and business needs.
