Job description

Technical Skills The Low Voltage Superintendent / Construction Project Manager must demonstrate proficiency in construction management software, project coordination tools, and Microsoft Office applications necessary to successfully manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout.

Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft PowerPoint Adobe Acrobat / Adobe PDF Construction & Project Management Software Procore Bluebeam Revu Autodesk Build Accubid ECMS CGC (Client/General Contractor Portals) Microsoft Project (Scheduling) Project Management & Technical Competencies The successful candidate must possess experience in: Project Scheduling and Critical Path Management Material Procurement and Vendor Coordination Request for Information (RFI) Management Submittal Review and Coordination Change Order Management Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Daily Reports and Project Documentation Construction Documentation Management Punch List Coordination Closeout Documentation As-Built Drawing Coordination Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals Warranty Documentation Client Communication and Project Reporting Additional Responsibilities In addition to supervising field operations, the Low Voltage Superintendent / Construction Project Manager will: Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise all phases of commercial low voltage construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout.

Lead and supervise field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications. Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Procore or other approved scheduling software. Coordinate procurement activities to ensure materials, equipment, and specialty products are delivered according to project schedules.

Review and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings. Manage and track project budgets, labor productivity, equipment utilization, and project costs. Prepare, review, and process change orders and maintain accurate project documentation. Conduct project meetings with clients, owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and quality standards. Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize schedule delays and cost impacts. Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list completion, final inspections, as-built documentation, warranties, O&M manuals, and turnover packages.

Maintain effective communication with executive leadership by providing regular project status reports, schedule updates, and budget forecasts. Mentor, coach, and develop field employees while promoting accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience managing commercial Low Voltage construction projects. Demonstrated experience supervising multiple crews and subcontractors simultaneously. Strong knowledge of Division 27 (Communications) and Division 28 (Electronic Safety & Security Systems). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, shop drawings, and technical documents.

Experience managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations. Excellent leadership, organizational, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, owners, consultants, and executive leadership. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
